Jake is an applied economist specializing in urban & real estate economics. Prior to joining Realtor.com, Jake was a Senior Economist in the Division of Research and Statistics at the Federal Reserve Board, where he studied the interactions between consumer finance and housing markets. He earned his PhD in Applied Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.
A proud Baltimore native, Jake currently lives in Washington, DC with his wife and two dogs.
